Cox Memorial C.S.I Church is situated about 5 km away from Neyyattinkara Town. This is a fertile remote area near the banks of Neyyar. Mejority of people are middle class. Their main occupation is agriculture and cattle rearing. They were mostly of Hindu tradition and cultural practices. The CSI in Thirupuram was established in 1846 by the missionary Rev. John Cox. It is one of the biggest Church in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. Over the years our Church has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development.
